Cake mix cookies drive quite a bit of traffic to our site through Pinterest and search engine queries. I’ve been inspired by the increased hits on our site to provide several more recipes, and possibly an ecookbook sometime in the near future.

Cake Mix Muffins: Apple Cinnamon

I love using cake mix for baking. It’s an easy time-saver to have all the flour, sugar and leavening agents in one box. When cake mixes are on sale, I snatch up a bunch to use for cookies, banana bread, and muffins.

Recently I discovered Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips thanks to a friend on Instagram. If she wasn’t a total stranger who lived far away, I would hug her. These things are amazing.

Low-Cost Crock Pot Goodness: White Beans and Ham

Seven of the eight members of our household have been sick this week. Mommy is the last man standing. The twins, the toddler, the tween, the teens and daddy all have the sniffles, fevers and icky coughs.
