To save money, my husband recently explored Pinterest to look for a good DIY homemade laundry soap recipe. I’m always fascinated when I catch a guy on Pinterest. It’s like seeing a wild animal wandering around in the city.

I’m so conflicted about this post. I love Crock Pot recipes. I’m constantly on Pinterest cruising around for new ways to cook dinner in my Crock Pot. It annoys the heck out of me when I come across a recipe that I think is completely made in the Crock Pot only to discover there are additional steps needed to finish the dish.

And here I am, posting one of those recipes. But this pot pie recipe is so good, so easy to put together – it’s worth the few extra steps.

Black Bean Chili in the Crock Pot

It was another beautiful day here. Rainy in the morning, but the sun was out after lunch. We enjoyed time at the park with our homeschool group. We had a trip to the store. I worked on a few projects around the house. And at the end of the day we enjoyed a nice bowl of Black Bean Chili.
