I received a wonderful book selection from Book Sneeze titled “The Christian Mama’s Guide to Parenting a Toddler” by Erin MacPherson. It’s a wonderful book! Easy to read and full of great tips. Good books are great to own, but better to give away. Today I’m happy to share our review and a chance to win this copy of Erin’s book.
And the winner is…
We love See The Light art curriculum and projects. Our family recently had the opportunity to review See The Light’s art project: Repeated Sweets and we were thrilled with the results. I’m amazed at how easily master artist Pat Knepley presented solid art lessons and techniques in a way that spanned age groups and skill levels. The lessons were simple enough for students as young as six or seven, yet there was plenty of information for older more advanced students. This is perfect for homeschooling families with children ranging in ages. Young children can work side-by-side with their older siblings using this DVD curriculum.
And here’s your chance to win a copy of Repeated Sweets to enjoy!
I first became aware of See The Light through mutual Twitter followers. I was delighted when Pat Holt visited our blog and left a wonderful, uplifting comment regarding my testimony. She asked if we would like to partner with See The Light for a review/giveaway. We love giveaways here! I was even more thrilled to partner with a Christian company producing DVDs that teach our favorite subject.
In May I’ll be attending the Texas MommyCon Mini in Austin. My sister lives there with her twin daughters and we’ll be attending together with both sets of twins. I’m very excited!
What’s MommyCon you ask?
Our very first giveaway was a success! We had 92 entries! And so it is with great pleasure I announce the winner…
I’m pretty excited y’all – it’s my first giveaway!
As I Google searched to learn more about blogging, I came across Tiffany Wong’s site The Bizy Mommy. Her post “How to increase page views by 528% in 5 months” caught my attention and I stuck around to enjoy the wonderful recipes, family-oriented articles, business and blogging tips, giveaways and more on her site.
With six children to feed (okay, two are still breastfed – but eventually they’ll want some dinner too) I can often be left scrounging for dinner ideas. We have a full schedule: church activities, piano and art lessons, our oldest in public high school. We need easy dinner solutions. Hot dogs just don’t cut it five days a week.
