Giveaway: The $5 Cookbook

I’m pretty excited y’all – it’s my first giveaway!

As I Google searched to learn more about blogging, I came across Tiffany Wong’s site The Bizy Mommy. Her post “How to increase page views by 528% in 5 months” caught my attention and I stuck around to enjoy the wonderful recipes, family-oriented articles, business and blogging tips, giveaways and more on her site.

With six children to feed (okay, two are still breastfed – but eventually they’ll want some dinner too) I can often be left scrounging for dinner ideas. We have a full schedule: church activities, piano and art lessons, our oldest in public high school. We need easy dinner solutions. Hot dogs just don’t cut it five days a week.

The $5 Cookbook offers 20 one-dish dinners that can be made for around $5.00 per meal. No special instructions, coupon deals, strange ingredients – just good, straight-forward food, easy-to-prepare with inexpensive ingredients. Perfect for any busy weeknight.

  1. How fun! Some of my favorite weeknight dinners are quesadillas, chicken salad, tacos, sloppy joes…to name a few. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Yum! Sounds like a lot of our favorites too. I can never get my oldest son to accept salad for dinner – but I love a good grilled chicken salad. One of these days I’ll get that boy straightened out! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I like to make a quick pasta salad, beans and rice, sloppy joes, hamburger steak…anything that doesn’t take more than 10 mins of prep time and I’m there! Great job on the cookbook Tiff!
